The five continents are represented and have voting power in the Board of Directors and/or General Assembly.

In strict accordance with the rules established by the federation, each member association, school or INFA Club section plays a role of ambassador of the INFA. The partners of the federation and the beauty schools are the major actors of the profession. They are active in the fields of training and professional information. Selected according to stringent quality criteria, their skills, know-how and notoriety in their own countries, our members know that they have an important role to play with the authorities in charge of education.

Several members have close links with the competent authorities in the field of professional training and their roles. Certain very active sections have become privileged national mediators, which has contributed to the cooperation and development of the INFA and their partners, the aim being to ensure ongoing improvement in the profession while responding to the changing demands of consumers.
